Having grown up in the optical industry and being an optician for over 25 years, I have a tremendous appreciation of the value of excellent eyesight. As a marathon runner and triathlete, I also have first-hand experience dealing with the inconvenience of glasses and contacts... At work I began to see some of your patients who had undergone LASIK and had excellent results. I began to feel very confident that I might achieve excellent visual acuity through LASIK... My procedure took less than ten minutes. I was able to return to work the following day and experienced no complications. My vision is excellent, certainly as good as or better than it had been with eyeglasses, and not a day goes by that I don't appreciate being able to see clearly without glasses or contacts...
