My consultation with Dr. Lessner was great. Dr. Lessner and his staff were both courteous and professional. As a pilot, there is nothing more important to me than my vision. I used to wear contact lenses in the cockpit and they were torture. Due to the dryness in the airplane, I found myself constantly applying eye drops to keep my eyes moist. LASIK surgery increased safety, since I was no longer distracted by irritated dry eyes on the airplane. If you are a pilot and are considering the surgery, I highly recommend it!
