I decided to have LASIK donewhen my high impact sports made it extremely difficult for me to tolerate my glasses and contacts. I had a very high near sighted prescription and very thin corneas and was not a LASIK candidate prior to the development of the Intralase technology. I was extremely nervous and did a lot of homework prior to making such a huge decision... Dr. Lessner and his very competent staff made me feel very comfortable about my decision and gave me all the information I desired... Having LASIK was one of the best decisions of my life. I was seeing 20/20 the next day after the procedure. I have never seen clearly with my glasses or contacts and I feel as if a whole new world has opened up for me. I am now like a child in the proverbial "candy store" looking gleefully at my new world. Sunsets, clouds, colors, people's faces and life in general has brought new meaning to my life. Now I truly know what is meant by "every cloud has a silver lining". I never witnessed this visual phenomenon before LASIK. Thank-you so much Dr. Lessner and staff for making my experience so comfortable and easy, and for giving me a new life. I am happy I found you.
