Since my LASIK procedure I have enjoyed my morning runs without pushing my glasses to stay in place, love to swim and snorkel more than ever since I can see everything in the water clearly now. This life changing experience and the desire to help educate students has led me to seek a Masters degree in Visual Disabilities, an area of my profession where I feel I can give back with a deep understanding of what it is like to not be able to see.
