I have worn glasses or contacts since the 2nd grade and would have to for the rest of my life.  My husband kept telling me that I spend too much time doing things for other people and that it is time to do something for me…so I did.  I finally decided to stop thinking about it and just do it.  When the procedure was over, I could actually see the time on the wall, even though it was like looking through vaseline, to be able to see where the hands were...it was miraculous to the point of tears.
