For 20 years I wore contact lenses (and eyeglasses at night). For 20 years I either went for a swim blindly or told everyone around me not to splash water in my face because I was wearing contacts. For 20 years I battled dry contact lenses, scratchy eyes, and various eye infections due to unclean contacts. Now I can't believe it's all in the past. At age 39 I can see with my own eyes again!
